Level One First-Aid Course
Level One is a very popular course as it introduces people into
Emergency Care and is usually the minimum requirement to be met
by companies when being inspected by the various governing bodies.

Evaluation

The course is to be presented on a 50% theoretical and 50%
practical basis.

The candidate is evaluated during the duration of the course.
There are no
written examinations.

A compulsory pass in C.P.R. is required.
Level Two First-Aid Course
Level two goes into more detail eg: Treatment of Paediatric patients

Duration - 3 days ( 20 Hours )

Level One & Two combined
Level 1 & 2 combined is the most popular course because of the value
for money and a lot of information to be learnt
Level Three First Aid Course
This is the most advanced first-Aid qualification that can be achieved.
Emcare recommends that all supervisors in working for large companies
get trained up to level three. This will ensure a very high standard
of patient care and help reduce further injury at the place of employment.

Entry Requirement - Valid Level 2 certificate

Certificate is valid for three years
Course content:
Contents are the same as Level 2 except a few additional chapters:
Evaluation
-
The candidate is evaluated during the duration of the course.
There is a written,
oral & practical examination. The pass mark for each component
is 50%.

An overall average of 60% must be obtained to successfully
complete the course.

A compulsory pass in C.P.R. is required.
CPR to the Public as well as A.H.A
courses level 1-6
A very basic yet informative course in either Adult or Infant Resuscitation
skills. These courses are accredited by the Resuscitation Council
of Southern Africa and are run by qualified C.P.R Instructors.
Health Care Providers C.P.R. Course
These courses are offered to qualified health Care professionals,
such as, Doctors, nurses and ambulance staff.
